Berlin, October 24th, 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Join us for a cosy after work session to learn and discuss about „The Future of App Development“ with like-minded fellows and cold beer!

Matthias Huttar former Team Lead Software Engineering at eBay Kleinanzeigen and Head of Platform Engineering at OLX Group. Matthias will take us on a journey to trunk based development. Trunk based development is a principle of software engineering in which engineers only commit to the master/trunk branch and frequently and constantly deploy to production.

Tim Condon is a Software Engineer at the BBC and founder of Broken Hands. Tim will discuss why Swift is more than just a language for iOS. He will debate the benefits of moving to full stack development and why Swift is the perfect language to use. During the talk he will refer to how global companies such as Netflix are implementing full stack development.

The date will be the 24th of October 2018 (from 6pm – around 8:30pm). The event will be hosted in the beautiful community lounge of our office @rent24 co-working space in Berlin-Mitte (Oberwallstraße 6, 10117 Berlin; U2 Hausvogteiplatz).
